This special issue aims to bridge the current lack of evidence on the digital and environmental twin transition for the advancement of the field of economics and management of innovation. It aims to collect relevant research building directly or indirectly upon the two legs of the twin transition (digital, green and most importantly both). Finally, it aims at drawing academic and policy-relevant insights in relation to the implementation and relevant consequences of the twin transition at the economic, social and country/regional levels of analysis. Original manuscripts with empirical analyses based on micro-data are especially welcome.
