The objective is to analyze the main market trends to deepen into the study of the sector and seek anticipation of future cycle changes.
Madrid, June 5, 2019. The Instituto Complutense de Análisis Económico (ICAE) of the Universidad Complutense and the real estate developer Metrovacesa have signed a collaboration agreement for the study of the Real Estate Cycle. The agreement, which will last two years, aims to develop quantitative tools that allow anticipating possible changes in trends in the sector, as well as improving, expanding and analyzing the main global economic indicators of the real estate sector.
The research work will be carried out by a team of researchers specializing in Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid, who will characterize the residential real estate cycle in Spain today and will analyze the factors that determine the changes in trends and the price of housing.
